Purpose of Study
The purpose of this study is to help understand reasons why eligible African American voters choose not to vote and in turn use that information to develop the best practices for government entities to implore in political elections.
The Problem
Every year, in every election in the United States almost half of the citizens of the United States choose not to vote, and therefore are not being represented by both local and federal government. According to the US census about 55.7% of eligible voters in the US voted in the last election (Misra, 2019).
